We have been engaged in quite a lot of collaborative art projects throughout the last couple of months. We used some old vertical drapes Miss Jess brought in and turned them into some amazing, colourful, glittery creations. If you haven’t seen them yet, be sure to check them out on the wall.
The children have really enjoyed the few rainy days we have had. They love getting out in the rain and splashing in the puddles. Even coming up to the colder months we will be playing outside in the rain so please make sure your child has gum boots & a raincoat so they can still enjoy the puddles! There are many benefits to playing outside, even when it is raining, if you would like to read up on some of them feel free to check out these websites.
We have really been enjoying building all sorts of Lego creations lately and there have been some amazing ones!! The children are using their problem solving skills, creativity, fine motor skills, concentration and imagination whilst playing with Lego.
It is getting into the colder months and unfortunately that means there is more sickness going around. If your child is unwell please try and keep them home to rest, as not only does this allow your child to get better quicker it also means the germs aren’t spread to other children and staff. We will be talking with the children about how we don’t spread germs as well!!
As always, feel free to come and chat to us at any time!
