The weeks have been flying by in a Mischief Mountain!
As winter approaches it has been great to spend some more time outside without it being to warm. Speaking of the outdoors, the children have been busy planting seeds for our new vegetable garden, as well as helping with watering. We are growing corn, and look forward to tasting our corn when it was ready to eat.
We have recently purchased some new toys. The children have been busy helping to build the new toys and explore them. Following our children’s interests, our new wooden rocket, tip truck and car set have all been very popular!
We decided to pamper our Mum’s with foot soaks and body scrubs for Mother’s Day. The children were excited to help mix the ingredients, as well as smell the coconut and essences. It was a lovely sensory experience for the children to be involved in.
If you have filled in a ‘what you did on the weekend’ sheet, thank you so much. It is a great opportunity for the children to be able to share about their families. The children have enjoyed sharing their weekend news at group time.
Lastly, please remember to label your child’s belongings and check the lost property container if you are missing any items.
Kind Regards, The Mischief Mountain Team
